The Mason High School Drama Club is excited to once again host its annual Drama Camp this summer! Designed for students entering Kindergarten through 8th grade, the camp offers a fun and educational introduction to acting, dance, improvisation, and technical theater.
Campers will participate in daily sessions led by experienced high school drama students under the supervision of the Mason High School theater faculty. Our curriculum aligns with the Ohio State Standards for Theater Education.
To celebrate their progress, campers will present a final performance for family and friends on Friday, June 13 at 6:00 p.m.
- Cost: $125 per child
- All proceeds support future productions of the Mason High School Drama Department
- All instructors and supervisors are volunteers

Course Selection
Students will select their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice classes. While we strive to accommodate top preferences, final placements may vary based on enrollment. Each camper will take two classes at camp.
Courses for Ages 5–9:
- Acting – Write and perform a short play
- Dance – Learn and perform a dance routine
- Selling the Song – Learn and perform a song
Courses for Ages 10 and up:
- Acting – Write and perform a short play
- Dance – Learn and perform a dance routine
- Selling the Song – Learn and perform a song
- Improvisation – Learn improv fundamentals and perform games
- Make-Up – Learn the basics of theatrical stage make-up
- Technical Theater – Learn flat construction, scenic painting, lighting, and sound setup
